How to Hard Reset Chromecast?

1. Press and hold the button on the side of the Chromecast device plugged into the TV.

2. Wait until the LED starts blinking orange color.
3. Release the button when the LED turns into a white color.
4. The Chromecast device will be reset completely.
How to Reset Chromecast using the Google Home App?
If the device is responsive, then you can use the Google Home app to reset your device with simple steps.
1. Install the Google Home app from the Play Store or App Store.
2. Launch the application and complete the login process using the credentials.
3. Select the Chromecast device from the list of devices.

4. Click on the Settings option and hit the vertical three-dots icon on the top right.
5. Tap on the Factory reset option and confirm the process by clicking on the OK to reset your Chromecast device.
How to Reset Chromecast with Google TV?
You can easily use the voice remote of the Chromecast to reset it via Google TV OS with a few simple steps.
1. Power On the Chromecast device and connect it to a stable internet connection.
2. Go to the home screen and click on the profile icon on the top right.

3. Choose the Settings tab and click on the System option.

4. Select the About from the list of options.

5. Tap on the Factory reset and then click on the Erase Everything button to reset your Chromecast device.
