MacBook Pro
List of MacBook Models
The MacBook Pro is the Apple’s higher-end laptop, which is available in both 13-inch and 15-inch configurations. A 17-inch version was also available between April 2006 and June 2012. The redesigned MacBook Pro was introduced on October 27, 2016, which is lighter and thinner than the previous generation of MacBook Pro. Both size models feature the touch-sensitive OLED display strip located in the place of the function keys, the Touch ID sensor is associated with the Power button, a butterfly mechanism keyboard is identical to the MacBook, and four USB-C ports, that also serves as the Thunderbolt 3 ports. The 13-inch model of the MacBook Pro is also available in the less expensive configuration with the conventional function keys and the only two USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 Ports. The 15-inch model was introduced first, in the January 2006, and the 17-inch model was followed in April. Both received numerous updates and Core 2 Duo processors later that year. The Product’s second iteration is known as the “unibody” model, has the casing made from the single piece of aluminium. In January 2009, the 17-inch model was designed with the same unibody design, Further updates brought upgraded Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and have introduced the Intel’s Thunderbolt technology. The previous generation 13 and 15-inch unibody models can be continued to sell with the updated processors. The third generation model is thinner than its predecessor and it is the first to include the high-resolution Retina Display. The 13-inch variant was released on October 2012. The fourth generation MacBook Pro was announced on October 27, 2016. It replaces the function keys with the interactive, OLED multi-touch “Touch Bar” and the Touch ID sensor integrated into the Power button.
